WELCOME TO ENVIRONMENTAL VETERANS FIRM (EVF)

Message from Mr. Ryoichi Imaizumi,
Chairman/Chief Director

To protect the world from further environmental destruction in order for the next generation to sustain progress is ultimately indispensable. Environmental Veterans Firm or EVF was established in hope of contributing to find solutions to environmental issues. By utilizing the business experience and professional expertise of seniors from various environmental fields, EVF became aware of more feasible ways to develop effective approaches for solutions. EVF will play a role in solving problems targeting small to mid-size enterprises, local governments in Japan, and under developed countries in Asia.
Special consideration will be given on how to cope with environmental destruction and issues with an objective to resolve the problems of Japan and neighboring countries. EVF will work in cooperation with local governments, citizens, enterprises and Non-profit/ Non-Government Organizations as partners to solve various environmental plights.
Message from Mr. Takashi Oka,
Vice Chairman/Deputy Chief Director

I was quite astonished to find that non-recyclable resources around the world only have an estimated 500 year life cycle. Although Rome Club Report warned that world’s resources was being limited, comfortable lifestyle living and immeasurable consumptions have been kept over a long period of time. Developing countries that were once achieving remarkable economic growth are now violently scrambling for resources.
There are no boundaries when it comes to these environmental issues. I feel it is crucial to provide the next generation with a rich environment in order to sustain progress on a global scale. Therefore, it was considered an important responsibility to contribute to resolutions by mobilizing EVF; dedicated to building today’s Japan. With that in mind, EVF has been established for those who share the same values and ideals with the sole purpose to find solutions.
A proverb from an Amazon myth once stated, “One drop of water by a humming bird may not help in fighting a forest fire, but makes his best effort by doing what he can do now;” assimilates that no one activity is too small, but will cause a significant surge as the result of combining each activity one by one. EVF’s aim is to accomplish this.
